Comprehensive, independent, grounded in market reality

What the report promises

A rigorous valuation report written to withstand scrutiny from a buyer, a lender, or an opposing adviser.

01

A valuation a buyer won't baulk at

A detailed and risk-adjusted maintainable earnings analysis shows what your business could reliably produce in future, which is the foundation of every buyer's valuation model.

02

A valuation range that's genuinely achievable

We give you a realistic range of what your business would fetch on the open market, not a number we think will flatter you.

03

Backed by real deal data

Where the data exists, we compare your business with similar ones that have actually sold, so the value is grounded in what buyers have paid, not theory. Smaller businesses don't often publish deal data. In these cases we source on-market comparables instead.

04

Risks spelled out and priced

For example, if a few clients make up most of your revenue, we show you how much that is costing you in value and what you can do to get it back.

05

Detailed analysis to support your value

Your report will include: An executive summary; agency value drivers, supporters and detractors; observations and factors we considered; financial history and performance (with commentary); balance sheet analysis (with commentary); client concentration analysis; client contract analysis; key-person dependency analysis; KPIs / ratio analysis; industry average comparison (where data is available); comparable transactions and listings (subject to what is available); a detailed valuation build; discount factors and sensitivities.

06

Fit for trustees, not just owners

If you are selling to an employee ownership trust, the report values the whole business at market value and shows surplus cash separately. That means the trustees can rely on it when they agree the price.
